Our goal is to be an extension of your home. We work closely with you as we train your children spiritually, academically, emotionally and physically in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Our desire is for each student to develop a thoroughly biblical worldview.
We are not a substitute for, but rather an extension of the Christian home and a partner with the church. We believe that the Christian home, the Christian school, and the Bible-believing church are all necessary to train our children and youth.
We desire to partner with you to prepare today’s youth to carry the light of the Gospel!
The Blue Ridge Christian Philosophy of Education is based on the Word of God (II Timothy 2:15, 3:16-17). Our primary goal is to support parents and their local church to train students to have the mind of Christ (Philippians 2) and mature in their Faith, while developing a strong Christian worldview.
Our academic program integrates a biblical worldview into all subject areas. We emphasize mastery of fundamental concepts while building critical thinking skills. Character training is another important part of the Blue Ridge Christian Philosophy of Education. The heart of character training is obedience. This means obedience to God, then to parents and authority in general (Ephesians 6:1, Hebrews 13:17). The end result: cultivating inner self-discipline–essential to each student’s emotional, physical, social, and spiritual health. To obey, to do right, and to love God are attitudes we encourage each student to develop so that they can fulfill God’s plan (Micah 6:8).
